Water bladder – Food-grade certified
The foundation of a good wicking garden bed is its water bladder. It needs to last for many years and has to be food-grade. ModBOX water bladders are heat-welded to fit like a glove inside the raised garden bed, no need of folding or cutting. They will not leach harmful chemicals into your water or soil and are guaranteed for 10 years.
Filtering fabric – Premium Geotextile
Another essential component of the wicking system is the filtering fabric. ModBOX wicking system kits include a premium geotextile fabric large enough to cover the entire floor and the sides of the raised garden bed.
Fittings – polyethylene UV protected
The overflow valve, the drainage outlet, the gate valve, and the hose connector complete this kit. A simple tightening of the bolt will water-proof the system. No need for other sealants like silicon.
